Closing an account
You can close your account by postal mail or by Procedure Request Form .
Please note that you will be required to provide another Japanese bank account information to transfer your remaining balance.
Please also note that foreign citizens leaving Japan (non-residents of Japan) are required to close their account before leaving.
Certain condtions will apply for closing your account by Procedure Request Form.
